Just wanted to express how thankful I am that web sites like these are growing in number and becoming more and more popular.

Keep up the good work and the fight..

Hello! I recently came across your website, and your stated purpose certainly resonates with me! I'll definitely browse through the other resources that you offer, but your entry on the Ayala Craig debate in particular caught my attention.

I tried posting this in the comments area of the blog post itself, but something didn't seem to be working, so I thought I would try here.

I wrote a couple of blog posts in response to this particular debate which may be of interest to you:

As both a cell biologist and a Christian I'm happy to find here something more thoughtful than the usual creationist pseudo-science (cavemen riding dinosaurs at the dawn of time, and such), but honestly I still have to say I don't get it. Faith is faith. Science is science. The two don't intersect. You can't prove faith, and you can't have faith in science. Sure I believe that God created life; I just don't pretend to know how. Neither, I think, should anyone else.

Faith and reason cannot be opposed for they flow from the very same God.

In ENCYCLICAL LETTER FIDES ET RATIO OF THE SUPREME PONTIFF JOHN PAUL II
TO THE BISHOPS OF THE CATHOLIC CHURCH ON THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN FAITH AND REASON

"There is thus no reason for competition of any kind between reason and faith: each contains the other, and each has its own scope for action."

Realty does not separate faith and reason and there are areas of intersect.

"I'm from the Catholic.com forums. Thanks very much for making me aware of this site!

A couple of years ago I attended a Creation Science lecture at my cousins' church and purchased a book written by Walt Brown, Ph.D. I read it, and was very excited about the information it provided. The entire book (as I unfortunately discovered after purchasing it), is available for free at creationscience.com.

I'm hoping to convince an atheist acquaintance of mine with the information from Dr. Brown, and from your site.

I am disappointed to see that you are the only person posting here, though, because I would hope to see many people interested in this topic. Is this site new? Do you advertise it anywhere? I'll certainly do what I can to make people aware of it.

Thanks again!" Larry Thomas
